Taking Advantage Of Slow E Bay Auctions.

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

Some auctions get tons of of bids, but some go rather more slowly, getting only some bids and even none at all for days. Auctions are usually much slower in the course of the summer season months than they are in the winter – and gross sales on e bay are slowing annually, as extra sellers than consumers enroll, hoping to get wealthy quick. There are a variety of way in which you could reap the benefits of slower auctions to get the most effective price.

Wait to Bid-For those who bid, then everybody can see you are interested and that may make them interested too. Leaving the item alone for as long as you can bear will make it look much less well liked, and keep the price down so you’ll be able to come in on the last minute and get a bargain.

Make an Offer-If the seller is promoting an item using ‘Buy it Now’ and it still hasn’t bought when the auction is about to end, use e bay’s ‘Greatest Supply’ service to make them an offer on it. The probabilities are they have listed the item or thrice earlier than, and so they’ll be so aggravated on the prospect of re listing it but once more that they are going to accept your offer just to get rid of the thing.

Conspire with Other Buyers-You might not have thought of this, but if there are two auctions for the same item and only you and one other buyer are bidding, why not get together and work out a ‘you take this one and I’ll take that one’ deal? This avoids you raising the price on both auctions just to get one each. If you make a few friends, you can even work together on auctions long term, taking it in turns to bid.

Be Snobbish-Send the seller emails asking questions about the condition of the item, and making it very clear that you are a discerning buyer and will only accept things of the highest quality. This will make them feel better about selling you their item for less.

What Are E Bay Art Auctions?

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

I have been looking at art auctions on e bay all day today. I’ve discovered some great things. I browsed the Artwork class and chose the subcategory of self representing artists.I like what I see for sale. Art auctions on e bay are a good way for an unknown or perhaps a known artist to sell their paintings. I discovered some nice paintings within the featured section.

There was another artwork auction on e bay that actually caught my eye. The artist was Kelly Shanks and she lives in Boston. The painting that I noticed was finished in an impressionist type and known as Neon Rain. It is a part of her New Orleans series. I liked it a lot.I discovered an art auction sale on e bay for a portray entitled The Egg Eaters.

It was really odd and didn’t exactly go well with me. I tried to imagine the place it would end up hanging. I feel that fantasy art just can’t hang everywhere. I can see this hanging in an upscale gaming store or in a bachelor pad.

The funniest art auction sale I saw on e bay was for a folk artwork rendition of a Jack Russell terrier. I can only think about that a dog lover should own and show this. The dog appears like he is about to leap up on me!I found a landscape that I really preferred when I was looking by the artwork auctions on e bay. The piece was referred to as Pink Barn beneath Praire Clouds. I think that if this was hanging in my bedroom, I would by no means get out of bed. I like to watch clouds.

The only other art auction on e bay that I spent a lot of time looking at was a painting of red tulips against a yellow sky. I’m not sure why I was so taken by this painting. Tulips are my favorite flower. The tulips in this painting are just suspended in the center. They just seem to hang there magically. I really liked this depiction of my favorite flower.

Simple Steps To Posting Your First E Bay Auction.

Friday, July 9th, 2010

It’s surprisingly simple to get started posting your very first auction on e bay. Here’s what you need to do.Open an e bay seller’s account. If you have bought things on e bay, then you already have an account – just log in with it and click ‘Sell’ in the toolbar at the top of the page, then click ‘Create a seller’s account’. If you’ve never used e bay before, then you’ll need to open an account first using the ‘register’ link underneath the toolbar, and then click ‘Sell’ and ‘Create a seller’s account’. The e bay site will then guide you through the process. For security, this may involve giving card details and bank information.

Decide what to sell. For your first little experiment with e bay, it doesn’t really matter what you sell. Take a look around the room you are in . I’m sure there’s something in there that you are not all that attached to and could put in the post. Small books and CDs are ideal first items.

Submit your item.Click on ‘Sell’, and you are on your way to listing your item. The first thing it is worthwhile to do is select a category – it’s best to simply type in what the item is and let e bay choose the category for you. Subsequently, write a title and description. Put key phrases you assume folks will search for in the title box, and all the data you have got concerning the merchandise in the description box.

Wait for it to sell. This is just a matter of sitting back and letting e bay do its job – buyers will find your merchandise and leave bids on it. Some bidders would possibly e mail you with questions about the item, and it is best to reply these questions as quickly as you can.

Collet fee and post it.E bay will sent your buyer’s e mails guiding them through the method of sending you money for the item. Be sure to have the cash before you send anything. After you have acquired the money, all you could do is pack the item for posting ,take the client’s address from the e mail e bay sent you, and write it on the parcel. Put some stamps on, post it, and you are done!I hope you enjoyed promoting your first item.

Promoting On E Bay-are You Aware Of E Bay Scammers?

Friday, July 9th, 2010

E bay is the world’s largest marketplace with millions of dollars of transactions taking place every day. As such it also attracts a fair number of unwanted personnel, e bay scammers. Here are a few tips you should note when buying and selling on e bay to avoid falling into the traps set by e bay scammers

Payment Terms-whether you are selling or buying anything on e bay, never agree to use Western Union or Money Gram for your transaction. It has been proven unsafe by numerous e bay users and it is also against e bay’s safe payment policy.

Beware of phishing-phishing is when someone sends you a spoofed email asking for your personal details usually from a recognized company or authority. Usually, they will have a link asking you to submit your details on that web page.

Don’t submit any personal info relating to your e bay login account to it. If you are not sure whether or not it is authentic, call e bay and ask whether or not an e mail was dispatched to you. In all my years with e bay, they have by no means sent me an e mail asking to verify my e bay account login or credit card details or any of that sort. This also applies for Paypal.

Monitor Your e bay Account-you need to monitor your e bay account closely for any suspicious activity. Examples could also be any feedback left, transactions closed, auctions listed without your knowledge. Inform e bay the moment you suspect that your e bay account is being compromised.

E Bay Selling Tips For Newbies

Friday, July 9th, 2010

I am directing this article to those that are simply starting their e bay Promoting Venture. Whether or not you are promoting books, DVDs, CDs, collectibles or clothes, all issues need to be mailed. And it is the postage, dealing with charges and mailing that seems to cause quite a lot of issues amongst new sellers.

You have heard the advice – don’t overcharge for shipping. That is excellent advice, certainly, as nothing turns off potential buyers like sellers who gouge you on the transport costs. It’s also an act that can rack up unhealthy feedback.

How can you be honest to each you and your consumers? Purchase a scale. It might sound simple, however purchasing a scale can save you a bundle in shipping. If you are just eyeballing the weight of the package, you may often times guess it to be too low, and when you go to the post office and see the package goes to cost twice what you thought to ship, you may be shocked.

Know the dimensions of your packaging before listing the item. Some packages cost more to ship because of their dimensions. Knowing the weight alone isn’t enough.Offer the buyer a variety of shipping methods. Some prefer speedy delivery with Express mailing, while some prefer to save money with parcel post even though the wait is longer. It’s always a good idea when using parcel post or other slower ground shipping to alert the buyer by email that it can take anywhere from 8 to 10 days.

Charge a small handling fee that may cover your expenses. Some sellers add on an extra $1 or $2 to the shipping .I really advocate doing this because your bills will add up if you happen to do plenty of business on e bay. Make sure to inform your consumers beforehand that you have got a small handling charge and not to complain about it later.Being truthful to both your self and your purchaser will keep you both satisfied, and put extra profit in your pocket.

Timing Secrets Of E Bay Auctions

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

In the case of promoting goods on E bay, what you might have and how you present it are two very important traits of successful auctions. Buyers like to know that they are getting a great deal, they usually prefer to know particulars about the merchandise they are paying for. But do you know that the timing of your e bay auctions may also affect their success? It’s true. Actually e bay sellers use timing strategies to maximize their earnings, and you may, too.

When are e bay’s peak shopping hours? As per the pros, day by day purchases spike between eight and ten PM Eastern Time. Weekly sales attain their summit on Sunday evenings. In case your auction closes during any of these time intervals, your listing is more prone to be seen and bid on. In case your auction sale closes within the wee hours of the morning, it’s unlikely that you’ll benefit from the last minute shopping activity.

So how do you time your auctions to finish when e bay has probably the most visitors? Time your listings carefully. Should you put up an item in a three day auctions, the auction will end on the actual time, three days later. The same goes for other auctions of longer durations.

For instance, a seven day listing made at 8PM on Sunday evening will finish at 8PM the following Sunday evening. It sounds easy, however cautious auction sales timing is an typically overlooked technique that may drastically improve your gross sales on e bay.

Time your auctions for maximum visibility, and your profits will improve. You don’t want to lose out on sales because your auction ended at 3AM when nobody was looking! Close the bidding at a peak time to make the most of your e bay business.May the tips above help you grow your business.

E Bay: The First 10 Years -info For New Enterpraners

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

Yes, you learn that accurately- ten years. E bay was created in September 1995, by a man referred to as Pierre Omidyar, who was living in San Jose. He needed his site – then called ‘Auction Web’ – to be a web based market, and wrote the first code for it in a single weekend. It was one of the first web sites of its type in the world. The title ‘eBay’ comes from the domain Omidyar used for his site. His company’s name was Echo Bay, and the ‘eBay Auction Web’ was initially only one a part of Echo Bay’s website at e bay.com. The first thing ever offered on the location was Omidyar’s broken laser pointer, which he received $14 for.

The site quickly became massively popular, as sellers got here to checklist all types of strange issues and bought them. Relying on belief seemed to work remarkably nicely, and meant that the website might virtually be left alone to run itself. The site had been designed from the start to gather a small charge on every sale, and it was this money that Omidyar used to pay for Auction Web’s expansion. The charges quickly added as much as more than his current salary, and so he decided to give up his job and work on the location full-time. It was at this level, in 1996, that he added the feedback facilities, to let buyers and sellers face one another and make buying and promoting safer.

In 1997, Omidyar changed Auction Web’s – and his firm’s – name to ‘eBay’, which is what individuals had been calling thesite for an extended time. He started to spend a lot of money on promoting, and had the eBay brand logo designed. It was in this year that the one-millionth sell was offered (it was a toy model of Huge bird from Sesame Avenue).

Then, in 1998 – the height of the dot com business – eBay turned massive enterprise, and the investment in Web companies on the time allowed it to bring in senior managers and business strategists, who took in public on the stock market. It began to encourage folks to sell other than just collectibles, and rapidly turned an enormous site the place you could possibly sell anything, large or small. Unlike different websites, though, eBay survived the top of the business, and is still going robust today.

1999 saw eBay go worldwide, launching sites in the UK, Australia and Germany. eBay bought half.com, an Amazon-like online retailer, in the year 2000 – the same year it introduced Buy it Now – and bought PayPal, an online payment service, in 2002.

Pierre Omidyar has now earned an estimated $3 billion from eBay, and still serves as Chairman of the Board. Oddly enough, he keeps a personal weblog pierre.typepad.com. There are now literally millions of items bought and sold every day on eBay, all over the world. For every $100 spent online worldwide, it is estimated that $14 is spent on eBay – that’s a lot of laser pointers.

Now that you understand the historical past of eBay, perhaps you’d wish to know how it may give you the results you want? The website given below will provide you with a concept of the possibilities.

An Online Program Worth The Time Effort And Money

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

So your an MLM opportunist or network marketer. If you have tried several different programs and failed don’t feel bad. Your in the same boat with hundreds of other marketers. Most of the systems are outstanding and the products are unique and interesting. Unfortunately, most members are unable to generate an income from their efforts if at all. Secondly, you probably had a difficult time finding liked minded individuals willing to do what I do.

The only way you will ever become successful in any MLM business is to enroll enough people who are willing to stay and build the business. This is really the only problem you have. And it is a huge problem. From my experience most of my enrollees really want it bad. Unfortunately, it is only a matter of time before they loose interest. Not only do they loose interest, but it becomes such a financial burden they couldn’t stay in even if they wanted. to.

I don’t know how many times I have stated, “never again,” never again will I enroll in a venture and waste my money. I say it, but evidently I don’t mean it. I know because after a short while I feel the urge to make some cash. Not because I need it just because I am driven to do it. I still have product in the fridge from my last venture even as I type this. It is going to be good drinking every sip knowing I bought it all at a discount. Just kidding.

In my recent line of thinking and in an attempt to strengthen my bottom line, I have found that discounts is where it’s at. With new program that I found, there are three solid reasons that will keep you and your downline in place. To begin, the program is just $70.00 to join and $20.00 a month forevermore. Now you can afford that. I will bet odds that your downline members can too. This is the first thing I noticed about the program. It is affordable to all enrollees.

Saving is my game and bleeding cash hurts. In many programs a substantial product purchase must be made every month to play the game and be eligible for commissions. If your spending a couple to three hundred a month and not putting anything back it can bleed you dry fast. This program is different. You don’t buy juice or other consumables. Instead, for $20.00 a month you get access to an endless supply of discounts at 175,000 stores around the world and in the community where you live. So, don’t worry about stocking up your cabinet with products you couldn’t drink in a lifetime. In this business to take advantage of the product, fire up your computer and print off your coupons or discounts. I know that is great, but the best and last thing about this program is the compensation plan.

If your an MLM “want to be” or experienced network marketer, take a few minutes to learn about this program. The membership allows me to pocket a little savings every time I go to the grocery store. I found a 50% off oil change coupon several days ago. $29.99 suddenly gets chopped to $14.99. If you do this once or twice a month at all the places you normally shop, your $20.00 a month contribution is making you money without enrolling the first person.

Now is the time to start saving more and putting more cash in your pocket. You can do it all with this program. Take advantage of the discounts and the business opportunity that is attached. It makes more dollars and sense to me than any program I have ever been involved with. It is only $20.00 a month after your initial enrollment.

About this program: Showing affordable online business opportunity for you. Also consider saving on everything you buy using this free application while you shop online

Trading Items At An Online Auction Service.

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

If you have not taken full advantage of the potential of using an online auction website to sell more items then you are certainly missing out big. The traffic of these sites is enormous and your offline business could benefit from this.

You can use some of the worlds largest online retailers to front your products which will also allow you to connect with millions of members that will buy online regular. Ebay and amazon are great examples of where you could grow your bottom line.

You can take it a step further and even open a fully designed online store within these membership sites that allows you to create categories with current offers. This provides any potential client with a wide variety of your current offerings.

Why dont you try to ship your items directly from the supplier and pass on any storage savings to the customer. You can build more trust this way and will show your buyers that you are willing to cut costs if you save on other areas.

You must be just as professional when dealing with people online as you would with a normal offline business as your reputation could take a hit with users who give you bad feedback due to poor services. Always go that extra mile.

Many tools have come available to make your listings on the online auction websites stand out from the rest. Its also a good idea to have a web designer create a bespoke template that is more relevant to your own brand.

If you want to learn more about how to use these sites more effectively then there are many dedicated online courses that can take you though the whole process from start to finish. You have to know what you are doing in order to gain trust and grow your sales or repeat customers.

You must have a long hard think of what you are really missing out on by not having an online store. There is alot more interest in buying online than there was a few years ago and i would actually predict that it will take over offline business.

You can use an online auction to double your current earnings and expand your business. Online auctions even offer you the chance to open your own online store full of your own products.
